Eamon Roy

CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Registered Music Therapist

Eamon is a Registered Music Therapist under the Australian Music Therapy Association. Holding a Masters of Music Therapy from the University of Melbourne, he has emerged from a rich and varied background in learning development, support work and music education.

Throughout his training, Eamon practiced music therapy with a range of individuals providing services in hospital, specialist school, aged care and adult disability settings.

In 2020, he worked as a session leader for the University of Melbourne Creative Arts and Music Therapy Research Unit (CAMTRU), conducting research to investigate the potential of Telehealth as a format for group gatherings of families with children of diverse abilities.

Alongside his music therapy practice, Eamon is undertaking advanced training in counselling and psychotherapy at Gestalt Therapy Australia.

 

Jamil Zacharia

Registered Music Therapist

Jamil is a registered music therapist with an honours degree in music performance, a masters of music therapy and a passion for planning and delivering high quality therapeutic services. Jamil has extensive clinical experience, which includes independently developing and running a successful music therapy program for the Lighthouse Foundation, one of Victoria’s most effective and highly regarded youth homelessness organisations.

Jamil’s approach to practice is centred on using music to deepen relational capacities, inspire connection and empower people to enact change. To do this, he draws from a rich knowledge base that includes developmental theory, psychoanalysis, attachment theory, trauma-informed approaches and social justice informed perspectives on mental health/disability. 

 

Eloise Falk

Registered Music Therapist

Eloise is a Registered Music Therapist who believes that everyone should have access to expressive and creative experiences. Throughout her time as a therapist, Eloise has worked with individuals across the lifespan in community, school, clinic, in-home, and hospital environments. Most recently, Eloise has worked at River Nile School, a school for young people from refugee and asylum seeker backgrounds, delivering trauma focused Music and Creative Arts Therapy. 

Prior to completing a Masters of Music Therapy at the University of Melbourne, Eloise worked as a Living Skills and Social Skills Therapist for Autistic children and young adults. 

Eloise’s practice is grounded in the belief that play, creativity, and expression, when used effectively in the therapeutic space, will inspire meaningful connection and growth. 

She is currently available for 1:1 and group-based sessions in community and in-home settings. 

 

Jin Goh

Registered Music Therapist

Jin is a Registered Music Therapist with a masters in music therapy from Roehampton University in London (2011). She has a wealth of experience of working with people of all ages from older adults to infants and their carers.

In her most recent position, Jin practiced music therapy at Red Balloon School in London, a trauma-informed high school for students who are self-excluded from school, facilitating both individual and group sessions. Jin has further training in integrative working (using other therapeutic, creative and play mediums alongside music), dialectical behaviour therapy for adolescents (DBT-A) and neurologic music therapy (NMT).

She has extensive experience of working with children and young people who are neurodiverse, using music therapy to facilitate well-being and growth in emotional, social and communicational skills.

Jin approaches everyone with warmth and respect, and aims to facilitate people towards their goals in a way that is enjoyable, creative and supportive. Jin is available for individual, group and family sessions in community and in-home settings.
